Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, Crunchie and I are taking part in the Wobbleberry Challenge. My lovely little horse is currently a bit under-fit (as am I) and we're neither of us excessively brave. But with the help of a lot of lessons, we're planning on completing an Affiliated Eventing competition by the end of this season.

I've always wanted to give eventing a go but lacked either the horse or the bravery; but the inspirational story of Hannah Francis, and the way she fought cancer so bravely and made every minute count, makes me think that if she can do that, my horse and I can give this a go!

If you're interested in Hannah's story, there's a lovely clip at bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04277dk

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
