Story
Corporal Lloyd Newell was fatally wounded whilst on operations in Helmand Province Afghanistan on 16 June 2011. Lloydy is a giant among men and I had the privilege of having him as a life long friend. He was a wonderful husband and father to a beautiful daughter. Lloyd loved his job and made the ultimate sacrifice doing it. His passing has left an enormous hole in the lives of everyone who knew him. Last year myself and 17 others completed the Paras10 challenge in catterick, then some completed Colchester and we raised a fantastic amount of money. This year i have signed up to do 2 more. The first is in Aldershot on 9th march then Colchester in July. I feel by doing this we are giving something back, its only a small price to pay for what these men and women sacrifie for us. It was a great sense of pride last year and am aiming to build on this and help to continue to raise money for this wonderful cause
Thank you for taking the time to read this, my thanks in advance for sponsoring the team and for keepling Lloyd's memory alive as we do.
