Story
Thank you everyone for visiting my Just Giving donation page.
I would like to say a Big Thanks to all of you for being able to take time out of your busy daily schedules. I want to provide you all with a better understanding of the cause I have decided to pursue.
Cause
The people of Rohingya are an ethnic group who have lived for centuries in the majority Buddhist country ‘Myanmar’.
Myanmar's military has brutally evicted more than half a million Rohingya people from the country's northern Rakhine state. The UN human rights office says their homes and villages have been burnt down and their crops and livestock destroyed to stop them from coming back.

Over the months since the outset of the Rohingya influx, this has been the world’s fastest growing refugee crisis, with tens of thousands fleeing by land and sea from Myanmar.
What can you do?
Donate whatever you can. It's the intention that counts.
Whether it be small or big, your donations will go a long way to help the Rohingya communities who are in desperate need of necessities such as food, water, shelters and sanitisation facilities.
A majority of these people are women and children who have fled on foot and by sea, only to find out if they will make it alive from the violence and atrocities they have had to go through.
Penny Appeal have helped many Human Beings around the World who have been affected by crisis in the UK and Internationally around the world.

What will I do?
I will be taking 16 days away from the comforts of UK life to go on an extreme expedition to the Mount Everest Base Camp. This will involve trekking and climbing peaks in high altitudes for days on end for the people of Rohingya. It will be a challenge encountering different terrains and conditions and climates. However, I hope with your prayers that this will be a successful expedition raising as much money as we can together for the people of Rohingya.
Thank you for donating to this cause which will be very much appreciated by the Rohingya people.
