Story

Inspired by so many amazing fundraisers during lockdown my 11 year old son Mason, who has Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB),will be taking on his own lockdown challenge!

One of Mason’s favourite sport is boxing and his hero is Tyson Fury.Despite the pain he lives with is determined to carry on his gym work each day - I’m so proud. Each day under lockdown, Mason will be completing a challenge which is good for his health.

Boxing and football is literally his life and he supports AFCB and has been very lucky to be able to go to most of the home games and meet all the players who have been so supportive to him in every way. His favourite player has always been Callum Wilson, Steve cook and Nathan AKE. Even though mason struggles physically he’s always determined to try and do everything he can in the ways of excercise and his physio Michelle at Great Ormond Street is extremely happy with his progress and determination.

Who we’re supporting

He’s decided to raise money for the amazing DEBRA EB Nurses working with the NHS at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) who help him to care for his condition. Although it’s a long journey up to GOSH, Mase always looks forwards to seeing the Nurses as they make him feel truly special. He wants to be able to show his support for them!

Please do donate and share if you can, thank you
