As many of you are probably aware my lovely Dad sadly passed away in May this year.  During his last few days he was cared for in LOROS Hospice.  The warmth and professionalism of every member of staff and the volunteers at LOROS was amazing. My Dad was cared for in the most compassionate and dignified way and nothing was ever too much trouble. Equally, the support and care given to us, his family, was sensitive and perceptive.Doing the Great North Run for LOROS  is our small way of showing our gratitude and helping to give something back to LOROS to enable then to help other people at such a difficult time - this one's for you Dad / Grandad !
