Story

August 25th 2010 - The Date Of The Transplant Has Arrived

Many of you will know that my dad Hugh is about to receive a kidney from ME!  Yes the date has arrived and we are full steam ahead.  I have seen over the last 5 or so years how this illness can effect a loved one first hand and as a family we have agreed that we are going to help others faced with similar Renal issues.  We would love to help children faced with similar renal issues and can think of no better way that to raise donations for Yorkill.

We would love to raise enough finance for a new dialysis machine which we believe is around £15k, however in this first instance we would ask you to contribute a small amount.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
