Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Ken Howick, I am 52 and I will be running in my 100th half-marathon at Plymouth on 19th April 2015.

I will be running in support of Target Ovarian Cancer because my mother, June Allin, died from ovarian cancer in May, 2014.

My mum had breast cancer in 1978 and 2009 and was then diagnosed with ovarian cancer in September 2013.Despite two courses of chemeotherapy we had the devastating news in February 2014 that the cancer was terminal.

After a brave battle my mum passed away on 26th May 2014 - exactly 2 months before her 77th Birthday.
