Story

Hi!

Most of you already know the crazy things I've done in the past, well, having spent the last 12 months on the sofa, finding it very difficult to be inspired to participate in another event, I finally decided to create my own.

The whole point of the SAS Challenge is to echo the inspirational spirit so bravely demonstrated by my sister Sarah. She has spent the last 20 years fighting the most devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis, and despite being constantly knocked down, has led one of the most remarkable lives possible. Never a word of complaint, and always with a smile and an enthusiasm to promote happiness in others.

I created the Sarah Anderson Stewart Challenge with the ambition of inspiring others to achieve success beyond what they would have considered. In doing so, I have invited 11 team mates to join me on the following one day quest, which will take place on the 1st of June 2013;

1) 130ft Abseil down the Dundee University Tower

2) A 50 mile road Bike

3) A 5 mile River Raft

4) An 8 mile run

This is not a race, but rather a personal challenge to demonstrate strength of character through individual success and overall teamwork.

All monies raised will go to the MS Therapy Centre in Peddie Street, Dundee. This Centre provides fantastic support and various treatments including Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber sessions which are proven to have a positive impact on MS sufferers as well as for those with other associated ailments. The Centre is funded entirely by donation and requires at least £130,000 every year to remain open.

I would like to encourage you to donate generously to this very worthwhile charity. In addition, I would also like you to consider those aspirations and dreams you have for yourself.......

Question? Why are they merely dreams or aspirations???
