The Three Peaks in 24 hours, I am going to give it my best go!
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, within 24 hours.
I will be meeting Will, Si and the rest of the guys in Scotland at the end of their 'EP1C' 8 day cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, where we will all then go to Ben Nevis to start the first of the 3 peaks.
Once we have strolled up & down Ben (!), we then head to Scafell Pike to do the same thing and we will end up at Snowdon at around 1am to climb the final peak.
This fundraising page is linked to the EP1C challenge (link below) where you can see the huge challenge that is being taken on by friends & family of James. This is part of the wider fundraising efforts that we have all been a part of since 2007 when we lost our lovely James and then has continued on after then losing beloved Tim and Karen & Chris in 2009.
It's an important event for us all to continue to remember them so we appreciate anything that you can give to try and help us reach our huge target.

On 7 April 2007 William Harrison's brother James Harrison died from pulmonary embolisms at the age of 20. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of his death, William wants to raise awareness of this condition. A pulmonary embolism is a blockage in the pulmonary artery; the blood vessel that carries blood from the heart to the lungs. They are extremely rare among young people and therefore, often misdiagnosed.
Simon Roney's brother Tim Roney, along with Chris and Karen Puddifoot, undertook a round the world cycle in 2008 in memory of James. Whilst completing the tour Karen (27) and Tim (21) passed away on 24 September 2009 in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. They were aboard a tourist boat sailing around the world heritage site when it capsized.
Following the passing of Karen, Chris’ sister, and Tim, his best friend, Chris remained at the family home in Northwood to support his parents and younger sister Catherine. On 10 November 2009, Chris (22) passed away in a car accident.
