We undertake critical brain tumour research to improve survival rates across the World.

Story

We are hoping to finish the World's longest continuous kayak race in April 2012. The race is called the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Marathon and is 125 miles long with 77 portages where you get out and carry the boat for over 13 miles on foot.

We're raising money for Children's Brain Tumour Research who do great work helping kids and parents at the main hosptial in Nottingham. They are helping worldwide efforts to find better treatments, diagnose the disease earlier and help families during and, hopefully, after treatment.

Your donation will help them on a range of projects that can be seen at http://www.cbtrc.org/cbtrc/index.aspx.

About the charity

We perform pioneering research into genetic abnormalities of brain tumours, novel imaging techniques & drug delivery. We also excel in diagnosis, innovative treatment & raising awareness. Additional funding will enable crucial advances to be made in understanding & treating childhood brain tumours.
