Hello my name is Katy Savage I'm 21 years old and am waiting for a Double lung transplant. I have Obliterative Bronchiolitis (OB) its very rare I was told I have one in a million lungs. I am now on the Harefield Hospital transplant list and have been for the past 3 and a half years. I am raising money for Live Life Then Give Life an amazing charity set up by Emily Thackray when she was waiting for a transplant. I am doing a sponsored no eating chocolate or crisps for a month starting from the 15th of January and ending on the 15th of February.  Their misson statement is 

Our predominant aim at Live Life Then Give Life is to save and improve the lives of organ and tissue transplant patients in the UK. We do this in a number of ways including:

• Media campaigns
• Talks and presentations
• Key public events
• Publicising information
• Online transplant community forum, Intoto

• And of course, our now famous T-shirts

Emily and her team does so much and I just wanted to help anyway I could!!

 

on the 19th feb the red house longton will be holding a charity night if anyone would like to help out by volunteering to sing on karaoke we will be asking each singer to raise just 10 pounds each from sponsors from friends or family with the best singer on the night winning £50 .. any raffle prizes that can be donated ... we will be really thankfull..
