Every day young amputees watch from the side lines because they cannot join in their friends games. Every day young amputees hide indoors because of the embarrassment and stigma of being different. Every day they miss out on education because they can not travel to school. There is in fact 40 million child amputees worldwide and only 5% have access to the prosthetic limbs which will make such a difference to their lives. The charity ELOH supports over 300 children in Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Liberia and India. They have also supported the training of a surgeon in Tanzania, who has already treated over a thousand young people.
