Having recently witnessed the bravery of my sister-in-law as she faced a sudden devastating diagnosis and then spent her last days showing her characteristic love and concern for all those around her, I can now see all the more acutely the importance of charities like The Cavendish Centre who make sure that people with cancer and the people they love are surrounded with the support that will help them most.  

I have seen how they have been there for one of the most incredible and lovely families I have the privilege of being friends with and am therefore so grateful to them.

For these reasons, and in tribute to the family and close friends who have experienced a diagnosis of cancer, I would love to give this charity some support so I would be very grateful for any donations you would like to make as I take on the seemingly ridiculous challenge of running, jogging, walking and perhaps crawling the whole 81 miles of the Dales Way this weekend.
