Story
Karl Austin was killed whilst competing in a cycling time trail on June 30th 2011. He was riding in the South Pennine RC evening 10 mile event when he was hit from behind by a HGV.
He death has left his family and Congleton Cycling Club members devasted and the wider cycling community in shocked disbelief. He was very well known and extremely well liked.
Cycling Projects is establishing a Wheels for All Centre in Congleton. Wheels for All facilitates cycling for those with disabilities and differing needs by providing adapted cycling equipment. It would be very fitting for Karl's memory to be able to contribute to this initiative.
