We protect and support children in conflict to give them a safe and happier future

Story

In almost one month Karishma Brahmbhatt, George Luther, Praveeta Thayalan, Jim Ford, Alex Rendell, Tom Levine and Elva Cullen, will be undertaking the Tough Mudder Half - South London in aid of War Child.

‎‎War Child was founded in 1993 by film-makers David Wilson and
Bill Leeson.  On assignment in the former-Yougoslavia they were horrified
by the violence and ethnic cleansing they witnessed.  And especially is
impact on children.  War Child’s main objective is to increase the scale
of their work and reach more children in conflict areas.  In 2015, the
number of children, young people and adults who received direct support from
War Child was 126,000.  With the help of us and others alike, War Child
plans to see that number rising to 260,000 by 2019.

With fitness levels in the team varying significantly (ranging from the 'have been a regular gym-goer ever since I can remember' to the 'I'm done after my second burpee') the Tough Mudder will be a, erm...challenge - to say the least. As the enormity of the task we've signed up to increasingly dawns on us, we're spurred on by the hope that our pain in undertaking the challenge is War Child's gain.

So, for all the efforts of the C2 Warriors, please donate generously!
