Story
In the spirit of the 2012 Olympics I am going for a summer of sporting challenges. In July I will be starting off gently by running in the British 10K London Run, in September things will get a bit harder cycling the London Bikeathon, and in October the toughest test of the three will be running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.
The British 10K London Run is on 8th July, starting at Hyde Park Corner and following the tourist route to Trafalgar Square, St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben and ending in Whitehall.
The London Bikeathon on 16th September is a 52 mile cycling tour of London taking in the Thames Barrier in the east and Ham House in the west.
The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is a major annual charity fundraising event, and my biggest challenge. On 7th October I will be running through Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James's Park and Green Park.
I am hoping you will sponsor me for my two chosen charities which are Royal National Lifeboat Institution and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
Please give generously and encourage my aching muscles! It's all in a good cause.
I am also raising money by raffling a painting by Christopher Corr. More details here.
