Justyna's 70km for War Child

Trek Jordan 2018 · 18 September 2018 ·
Give me three minutes of your time and I will give you 70km in the heat of Jordan in return. Here’s why.
Syria. Iraq. Democratic Republic of Congo. Yemen. Afghanistan. Uganda. Burundi. Central African Republic. What do they have in common? Each of these countries has its own story with one common thread: suffering children facing violence, displacement, sexual abuse, trauma and gaps in education. All at this very moment. War Child is striving to make things right again for 260,000 children by 2019.
Who am I? I am a lawyer at Allen & Overy’s Warsaw office. I love trekking, when not trekking I am cooking and baking or travelling, and I am willing to use all of my strengths and abilities to help War Child reach their goal. I am also proud to say that I, together with 20 other trekkers from 9 offices among our global A&O network, was selected to trek Jordan for War Child and I have only one aim: to raise at least GBP 2,000 for War Child. All together, we are planning to raise GBP 70,000 by 31 October 2018.
Now, here’s what YOU can do.
You can donate any amount you like or just share this story among your friends and family. Every donation and every share matters.
For those donating GBP 15 or more by 14 September 2018, I will send a paper post card straight from Jordan to anyone you wish with a personalized message of your choice (unless you want it to be a surprise). Please send the postcard details to postcardsfromjordan@gmail.com.
Important fact: your donation will go directly to War Child. The costs of the trek are funded independently.
