Story
When I told my friends I was running 45 miles from Wendover in Buckinghamshire to Little Venice in London, they responded like this:
"I'm not sure I can even drive 45 miles."
"Are you missing a decimal point there?"
"You're going to die."
Well, we're all going to die one day so I thought I might as well do something challenging while I still can. So, this is what I'm doing.
They also told me that I'd better do it for charity or kittens would come to harm. I'm hoping this isn't true but unwilling to take the risk, I've set up this page and aim to raise £10 per mile for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, as it's a charity close to my heart.
So if you can spare a quid or two and think of me while I sprint athletically/plod pathetically towards west London on Saturday 11 January 2014, that would be amazing.
You're also welcome to join me in the pub once I've finished. I'm not sure which pub yet but if you're that keen to come you'll figure it out.
