Virgin London Marathon 2016

Virgin London Marathon 2016 · 24 April 2016 ·
In 2015 with the help of our friends, suppliers, colleague's and customers we were able to raise £1267 for "up yours to cancer" the Ethan Maull foundation.
Throughout 2016 members of our team will be taking part in various events in an attempt to raise more funds and awareness for the Ethan Maull foundation.
On Sunday the 24th of April Rebecca Hewitt is kicking us off with a big one....... The Virgin Money London Marathon.
Every year, approximately 36,000 people run the 26.2-mile (42.2km) marathon through the streets of London. T he first half of the route runs just south of the Thames through Greenwich and Blackheath. After crossing the river on Tower Bridge , runners pass some of the capital's famous landmarks, including the Coca Cola London Eye and the Tower of London , before finishing in front of Buckingham Palace .
Rebecca's training is already under way with varied distance running 4 times a week along with swimming. Training is tough enough in itself as you try to push your body so that you can be ready to cover the full distance, however in doing so many injuries and illnesses crop up as your body is put under strain.
Between now and the event we will aim to keep you up to date with Rebecca's training progress, with as much information and pictures as possible.
Rebecca is raising money for the Ethan Maull "Up Yours To Cancer" foundation which is our chosen charity for 2016. If you would like to learn more about Ethan's story please visit his website http://
