Hannah's Wilberry Wonder Pony is a charity founded by Hannah Francis in March 2016. Hannah, a hugely talented young event rider, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in May 2015 at the age of 17. Hannah founded her charity to fund research into osteosarcoma and to provide equestrian wishes to seriously ill people. Hannah fought the disease with extraordinary courage and dignity but sadly died on 01 August 2016 at just 18.

The Wobbleberry Challenge was set up to raise money for Hannah's Charity - it's aimed at middle aged, wimpy riders - so I fit the bill rather well!

The goal is to complete a British Eventing one day event (BE80) comprising:

• Dressage (prancing around in circles - trust me it is surprisingly difficult - they don't call it stressage for nothing!)
  
• Showjumping- jumps up to 85cm - think slightly taller than your kitchen table
• Cross country - about 2km over rustic fences, ditches, banks, water... again the fences about as big and wide as your kitchen table!

It's quite a challenge for me - I'm the wrong side of 50 and I've never done a one day event before but I'm determined to fulfil a childhood dream - better late then never! I'm also incredibly lucky to have an amazing equine partner in Harry - he's done this before and seems happy to put up with my wobbles!

All of your donations will go directly to the charity. I'll be covering my training, event fees and expenses.
