Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!! When my Gran (Eleanor Finlayson) died of Motor Neurone Disease back in August 2011, I decided that I wanted to do something in her memory while raising money for MND Scotland.
MND Scotland is the only Scottish charity dedicated to people with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), their families, friends and carers. The charity provide a wide range of services, information about MND and funding for research. Through education, campaigning and research, they work collaboratively to ensure that people affected by MND have access to the highest quality care and support.
I work with dogs so when I saw the husky trail I knew it was something I would LOVE to do. In 2013 I will be driving my own team of spirited huskies across the Arctic! I will spend six days sledding through the rolling highlands and deep forests of Lapland. My charity challenge is to sled 250km from Norway, into Sweden through untouched nature!
