Dear Friend

As you know I am passionate about my job and relish every challenge. Occasionally we self indulgent telly presenters get the opportunity to do something for a good cause as well. You may have heard about the BBC programme Around The World In 80 Days . I have donned my walking boots and armed with a mountain of wetwipes and my Countryfile co-host Matt Baker set off on the journey of a lifetime against the clock, for Children In Need.

I hope to raise as much money as possible by November 1st and I would appreciate your help and generosity. Some of you have been kind enough to offer your support in the past and a huge thanks for that.  Every penny will go to those children less fortunate than ours.
