There are well over 20,000 people in the UK with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye condition that causes blindness. I have RP and have many friends with the condition.   

RP Fighting Blindness fund research into treatments that we hope will, one day soon, restore sight. Massive advances have already been made and the future is looking good.

Last year a select band trekked across Iceland and raised over £30,000, this year we're walking further and faster in an attempt to walk 200 miles from coast to coast- St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire in just 10 days.

It isn't going to be easy.
