Story
This year I set myself a goal to compete a charity event. Last last year my grandad was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and within weeks of diagnoses he was sent to St Catherine’s hospice where he spent his final days. St Catherine’s made my grandads very short stay somewhat bearable.
St Catherine's provides palliative and end-of-life care and support for the people of Central Lancashire, through our specialised services at the hospice and in people’s own homes. We're here to help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life. It costs more than £5m to run our charity every single year. We rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help us raise the funds we need. Thank you!
