We harness the power of sport and rugby to remove barriers and create opportunity

Story

Since September 2016, The Leicester Tigers Foundation has engaged over 4000 young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) across 60 different schools through its SEND Rugby programme to improve social skills, teamwork skills, self confidence and raise awareness of disability in society and sport. To continue and expand this amazing work long into the future, funding is required for the Leicester Tigers Foundation to carry on making this an accessible resource for all schools for students with SEND, both Special Schools and Mainstream Schools.

For those who know me personally, the ability to do continuous running is obviously not my strongest attribute! So with dedication to training and knowing that any funds I raise will be hugely appreciated by the Leicester Tigers Foundation, I've committed myself to run this 10K.

Why? Because I've seen first hand the enormously positive difference it makes to these young people  in schools. It's a service in which The Leicester Tigers Foundation has never been able to do before, and it is something that they certainly do not want to stop doing. So should you wish to donate to this page, I can assure you that you're money will be going towards one of the best initiatives that Leicester Tigers has ever been able to deliver.

Thank you!
