We raise funds at Nottingham to transform lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Project Aga Sikolo is a collaboration between the University of Nottingham and the Charity Education Africa. Past university of Nottingham Architecture students have already completed two projects in the region which can be viewed here:

http://www.projectjouberton.com/

http://www.projectlimpopo.org/Project_Limpopo/Home.html

The project revisits the former Project Limpopo nursery school based in Calais Village within the Limpopo region of South Africa, with the aim of expanding the scheme with an additional classroom a kitchen and dining area. This is essential for a school which was formerly a tin shed and even after development is still turning away children due to not having the facilities.

Each Nottingham Architecture student will submit a design with one being chosen to be built. Individually we are required to raise £1000 with every penny going into the construction and materials for the project! In Easter 2013 we will fly out and commence building the school!

Every donation will help a child receive an education they deserve! Keep up to date via Facebook and Twitter - UonArchitects.
