JOSH CYCLES FROM LEEDS TO PARIS

Leeds RAG Tour to France · 13 June 2014
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June 2014, I'll be cycling the 400 miles from the Parkinson Steps at the University of Leeds to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I am doing this as part of the students' union's official fundraising body - Leeds RAG - along with around 50 other students. We all have to raise a minimum of £300, meaning as a team we're trying to raise at least £15,000.
This challenge is all in aid of Save the Children, an amazing charity of which you will all be familiar with. Save the Children work in over 120 countries to promote children's rights, fight child poverty and hunger, protect exploited children and help to improve access to the most basic healthcare.
The charity not only work in the poorest countries of the world, but also right here in the United Kingdom. Their main projects in the UK concern helping families improve their child's development at home and school, providing 7,000 reading helpers for children in the most deprived areas of the country and, perhaps most importantly, provide their families with household essentials, like a child's bed, a family cooker or educational books and toys to support children living in severe poverty.
I'd appreciate it hugely if you'd consider donating to this cause.
