Story
So, you made it! Many thanks for making it so far.
As you know, I am trying to raise money for the NSPCC. My goal: to run 1,000km during 2010 - that's the equivalent of 2 marathons a month! Since Jan 1st 2010, I've been out there rain or shine. Or, more accurately, snow, ice or heavy rain. So far, I'm on track.
I have set a target of £5,000 with a stretch target of £10,000 - 1p for every meter. I am aware that this is A LOT of money, so any contribution made would be greatly appreciated. Some of you have rightly hedged your bets on me - donating some today some when I make a dent at my target. Any creative ideas would be great.
Hopefully you had a chance to look at my bolg: http://1000kmnspcc.blogspot.com/. Comments, nasty or otherwise, are welcome.
Many many thanks,
Jonathan
2009 was a year of uncertainty. At times like these children in need are suffering even more than usual. With money tight and corporate contributions to charity all but drying out, those of us who can, have the opportunity to give something back.
