Story
Sarah and I have put side our fears (well Sarah at least), acquired a bicycle and started training for a mammoth 88 mile cycle starting at Manchester Town Hall at midnight on 21 June and continuing forth, crossing the Welsh boarder and ending up in Llandudno, hopefully in time for a hearty Welsh breakfast – all in the name of charity.
We’re joining forces with fellow cyclists and raising money for www.reubensretreat.org a charity set up by the parents of Rueben who sadly passed away aged 23 months. The charity has been set up in memory of Rueben and is raising money to build a retreat in the North West countryside for children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses, with a support and bereavement centre for family members.
We would be delighted if you would be kind enough to sponsor us, however small or large the amount, all is welcomed and very much appreciated.
Jon is a cycling pro whilst I am a mere novice but together we’ll support one another to keep going, throughout the night and count down the 88 miles.
Many thanks for your support. We really appreciate it.
