Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My father John Selwood sadly passed away at home on Sunday 2nd October 2011.

He had been diagnosed with lymphoma of the brain almost exactly a year before.  The photo on our front page was taken at my wedding shortly before his diagnosis.

During his illness my parents both relied heavily on the support of a number of organisations, most importantly the British Red Cross and Marie Curie cancer care.  This allowed my father to be cared for at home and to be around his friends and family for the majority of his illness.

Instead of flowers for the funeral we would prefer that friends and family donate to either the Marie Curie Cancer care fund or the British Red Cross.
