Story
I hate cancer. It's everywhere, and threatens the lives of people I care about. I want it gone. It's not going to happen overnight, or even in my lifetime, but it will happen, and it will happen because of organisations like Cancer Research. Cancer Research have been fighting cancer since 1902. Their collective work has helped double cancer survival rates in the last 40 years. People I love are still here because of it.
On August 30th, myself and Dan will be setting off from Land's End. We'll be cycling approximately 1100 miles through the delightful British countryside on our way to John O'Groats in Scotland. We can't afford a support team, so we'll be carrying everything we need with us, and camping under the stars. We are aiming to complete the trip in 10 days.
We'll be doing this in support of Cancer Research, in the hope that we can raise a little bit of money to help them realise their ambition of finding cures for all cancers. If you can spare a small donation to help us on our way we would be most grateful.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
No amount is too small. Thanks for your time.
