I survived a stroke on the 24th of July 2012 please take a few minutes to read my story by clicking on the link below

http://newyoutraining.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-journey-stroke-at-30-ive-wanted-to_5.html

I'm still living adjusting and learning to adapt the effects of my stroke. It took 20 long hard months of emotional, physical and life changing roller coaster to return to work. I'm still left with the fatigue and cognitive side effects. These flare can happen at any point which effect my thinking, energy and mood. I feel I'm learning from each 'blip' and in whole I'm a stronger person.

Since the Stroke I've returned to work, helped create awareness for Stroke, opened a CrossFit affiliate and been blessed to still be here with my wife, kids, family and friends.

We want to create as much awareness as possible. We are both running the Great North Run and have programmed a 'Act FAST' WOD (work out of the day) which we are going to try and get CrossFit boxes from around the country to programme for that day (24th July).

Please post times, pictures, videos either to Facebook: crossfit tailored training
Email: crossfittailored@gmail.com
Instagram: crossfit tailored training or #actfastwod
