Whilst indulging myself in a long walk to mark my 60th birthday, I thought it was a great opportunity to raise some funds for a superb charity. The last year has been particularly tough for anyone with a disability and charities like Leonard Cheshire are needed more than ever. 

Leonard Cheshire - support individuals to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. Led by people with experience of disability, they are at the heart of local life - opening doors to opportunity, choice and support in communities around the globe. Leading by example, they do everything humanly possible to empower people to live their lives a freely and as fully as they choose.
