I'm 20% towards my Target on Just Giving
I have been a Myeloma sufferer for 12 years now and have had 2 Stem Cell Transplants and 2 varying periods of remission but am now back on Chemotherapy again and i have decided I would like to do something to help raise funds to support Myeloma UK.
On 14th September which coincides with my 54th Birthday I will be holding a Fundraising and Awareness Day at my business The Clock Fish & Chip Restaurant Mablethorpe when all food and drink will be half price for the whole of the day from 11am until 10pm we will also have a free raffle with some great prizes kindly donated by local businesses, we will be laying on entertainment for the day (There's a guy down the chip shop thinks he's ELVIS) who will be entertaining our customers, other entertainers are being lined up also to make a full programme of events and all our staff will give their time for free.
5 of my staff are collecting sponsorship themselves and will be doing tandem skydives on 23rd Sept at Brigg Airfield.
My Son is also arranging his own event on 6th Sept, a 24hr Golf event with Glo Lighting. For which his sponsorship his also going well.
The support from everyone has been fantastic and has moved me to tears
Sept 14th in particular is promising to be a spectacular day and we will hopefully have a great turnout, if you can't attend but still wish to support our cause then this is why I have set up this page
