Thanks for visiting my Big Walk 2019 Just Giving Page.

I'm taking once again taking part in the Big Walk walk challenge on Friday 28th June 2019. I'll completing a 23 mile route through the Peak District, taking in Ladybower, Derwent Edge and Bradfield before making my way down to the University for a celebratory finish!

Why am I doing this?

I'm walking with a team, 'The Outreach Warriors', to give students the opportunity to come and study at Sheffield by fundraising for scholarships. Scholarships are vital to reduce barriers for bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to have a university education.

Unfortunately, the cost of university is increasing, which is reducing the number of students able to attend university from lower income and disadvantaged backgrounds. I can say from first hand experience how difficult uni life can be when finances dictate your experience. 

So please donate to my page to help give students the opportunity to come and study here at Sheffield.
