It's very easy to commit yourself to something which is far off - as signing up to the Bath Half five months ago has proven. As if that wasn't enough, the powerful forces of peer pressure and FOMO have led me into two other ventures: in June I will be doing the three peaks challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24hrs) and in July I will be walking the Worcester Way (c. 30miles) in a day. I reckon that all of this must be worth a few quid of sponsorship.
I'm raising money for St Peter's Hospice who looked after my grandmother, and provided my family with immense support, before she passed away in October last year. St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's only adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.
