Story
Hi all, As you will know by now, I am doing a skydive for Jenson's journey (date tbc)!! People that know me, will know that I'm a little scared of heights - so this is very much out of my comfort zone. It's something I've got on my list to achieve before I'm 30 and what better way to do it than to raise money to help this little boy! Here is Jenson's story: Jenson has just turned 5 and has cerebral palsy - spastic hemiplegia. We desperately want him to have surgery in America, it is not currently offered to children with Hemiplegia in the UK. In order to send him to America to undergo this life changing surgery we need to raise in excess of £50,000 so every donation no matter how small would make a world of difference. Please give what you can. This surgery ( Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy ) would remove all the spasticity in Jensons right leg and enable him to walk without the need of ever having to wear leg splints/have botox injections or endure intensive physiotherapy for the rest of his life. Everyday is a struggle and we want more than anything to make Jenson's life easier. Jenson has now been given a surgery date of the 28th March 2013 so the pressure is now really on) So please all dig deep for this amazing cause xx
