We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Spot and I will be competing in a British Eventing 80 challenge in 2017 raising money for the 'Willberry Wonder Pony' charity in memory of Hannah Francis the charity's founder who sadly passed away in August 2016. Hannah was a talented young eventer who has inspired so many of us to pick up our reins and compete in the sport she loved so much.

We will also ride in memory of Zoe Milton a fellow Active Rider and for the family and friends who go through the suffering and grief that Cancer brings to so many. Sadly we all know someone who has lost, who are currently fighting, or who have been extremely strong and have won their battle with this horrible disease.

So what is a Wobbleberry:

A Wobbleberry is a rider a lot like me....

Someone who is currently not fit enough to get round a cross country course never mind the dressage test and show jumping round that comes before it.

Someone who is not brave enough to get round a cross country course never mind a course that is 80cm high and up to 90cm wide tackled mostly at a flat out gallop unless you have good brakes (please allow brakes to work Spot).

Someone who should be old enough or wise enough to know better, this will hurt at some point.

Someone who is supportive, we are not doing this alone, an amazing 1200 people have signed up and we have been placed into regional groups to train and support each other.

Someone who is dedicated to raise funds for such a wonderful cause, not only does 'Willberry' raise money for bone cancer research he also raises money for 'Willberry's Wishes' a charity that allows seriously ill young people and their families to fulfill their equine dreams.

My friends and family all know how much of a wimp I am, dressage tests freak me out my nerves just can't take it, as for jumping 18 years ago and I could ride into any fence and the adrenaline rush would have had me asking for them to be higher or wider but after a few lucky escapes and broken/ fractured bones I'm more than happy supporting others from the sidelines.

So in memory of Hannah and Zoe please help me to support Willberry and to fight my demons within.
