Story

Hello there - thanks for coming to my fundraising page to help beat blood cancers!

I've rashly entered the London Marathon on 17th April, and while running the (long) 26.2 miles I'll be raising money for an excellent cause: leukaemia and lymphoma research.

Like me, you may know someone who is affected.  Each year in the UK, nearly 30,000 people of all ages are diagnosed with blood cancers.  Lymphoma is actually the most common cause of cancer death in the under 40s.

Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research has 260 research projects right across the country, supporting science to find the causes, develop new treatments and fund clinical trials.

I'm hoping to raise at least £100 for each mile I run on the day, which will help to keep me going (and help me continue my dark morning winter training runs too!).

Cheers,

Jo
