As most of you will know I work for Centrepoint which is a charity that supports homeless young people. I've worked for Centrepoint for over 2 years now & have had the opportunity to see for myself how the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in our society can be changed.

What you probably don't know is that at the grand old age of 61 I'm Centrepoint's oldest employee and after 20 years of inactivity I've embarked on a training programme to do the Great North Run.

Running a half marathon is going to be a big challenge for me and I have roughly 5 weeks to hit my target so come on people help me reach it and better still you will be a part of helping homeless young people.

Whatever money I raise will be spent directly on giving them some of opportunities that we take for granted. It's a charity that's well worth supporting.
