Story

Thank you for looking at my page. 2014 is going to be a big year for me as I attempt a series of increasingly demanding endurance events in military kit carrying a back-pack.

The first event will be the Brighton half marathon in February. Although I have run this a few times I have never completed in rig with weight (military kit + Bergan) This will be followed by the Para 10 in Colchester. Although i have completed this clean again I am going to do it in rig for the first time and so will be an even bigger challenge.

This is then followed by the 3 main events of the SAS selection, navigation phase, over 3 weekends. These are The Force 10, The Fan Dance and finally The Point To Point. Those of you in the know will realise that these are a "Little Bit Tricky" events. Again these will be completed in rig.

To finish it all off I have nearly secured a place in the London Marathon 2014 ( although waiting to confirm!)

well if that wasn't enough I will then return home for a cup of tea and probably a biscuit!

For those of you that know me you will realise that I'm not built for speed, but built for comfort and so these events will get me a little out of breath. I have also recently been diagnosed with Arthritis so that will add its own unique challenge! So please help out with a little change!

Well if you've read this far you will probably need a bit of a lie down.....
