Story
Hi everyone! Jill here :-) Since Jake came along just over a year ago, I seem to have done almost zero exercise (apart from chasing him when he crawls out the front door and off down the street, but that's another story..). So, I need your encouragement to help me complete 80 miles of cycling on the weekend of 16th Sept, to raise dosh for "HOPE FOR JUSTICE". If you are sitting down, watch this clip. If not, then find a seat first. It's just mad what goes on in this world we live in, but I reckon we can help change it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZT7wLjArec
With this clip in mind, a group of us from MK have decided to cycle the length of the Grand Union Canal from Leicester to London to raise money for Hope For Justice. I washed the cobwebs off my bike, dug out those tasty padded shorts and am good to go :-)
I just recently come across the charity and am loving what I have seen. The aim of Hope For Justice is to make this country uninhabitable for traffickers and a place where they can no longer continue with their despicable trade. Their main work is to rescue Princesses from slavery: http://www.hopeforjustice.org.uk/
As a group, we want to raise £20,000 that will help fund an investigator for an entire year.
The small print....Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Thanks for reading this far. Really really hope you can help. I reckon it's worth sponsoring me, just to see me in those comedy padded cycling shorts... Loads of love, Jill x x x
