Cambridge & Counties Bank (CCB) is passionate about raising money to help charitable causes and what better CCB way is there to do this than through a challenge? In July 2016, 8 CCB employees are going to be cycling from Land's End to Leicester - that's 333 miles in 3 days!

Between us, we will be raising money for 3 charities: Cancer Research, LOROS (a Leicestershire and Rutland based charity which provides care and offers support to terminally ill patients) and the MND Association (the Motor Neurone Disease Association).

I have chosen to raise money for the MND Association due to the direct impact it has had upon my family. Motor neurone disease is a progressive disease, causing degeneration of the body's nervous system and muscle wastage. This can eventually lead to those suffering from it to be unable to walk, talk, swallow or breathe. MND is a life-changing and destroying illness that has a devastating affect upon those living with it and their families. 

Any donation would be hugely appreciated, not only to assist with care and campaigning but also to help us get one step closer to the ultimate goal of finding a cure for MND. My personal target is £333 (£1 per mile), this target would be great to reach but obviously if we could beat this it would be fantastic (every little helps)!
