Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is the fourth time I'll be heading off from Alexandra Palace on a fresh Wednesday morning to spend my time with about 40 other riders with one goal in mind. To get to Download the best part of 170 miles away in two and a half days and have my behind in some reasonable state for me to enjoy the actual festival instead of spending a weekend in a cold bath whimpering. But more importantly, it's about raising money for the charities involved: Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer and Childline. Sadly, but hardly uniquely, my own family has suffered from both cancer and Alzheimer's, so these causes are as close to my own heart as is helping raise money so others can benefit from the great work they do. And I can assure, you when the going gets tough out there (and it will) it is the thought of the young people who are benefitting from the money we're raising that keeps me going. So please, give as much as you can afford. It all helps and all donations are gratefully received...

This year we want to add a lot more to that, so please donate generously. It isn't just about cash, though - each year we hold an annual raffle and memorabilia auction, which we call the Monster Rock Auction.
