"Because marathons are boring!"

Is there a better reason than that?!

So I may have officially lost the plot, but I have agreed (been forced) to do a 12 mile obstacle course designed by the army to test strength and stamina. I know - sounds perfect for me, right?

This may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever done, which is certainly saying something, but the knowledge that we will be raising money for the fantastic cause of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity will be (hopefully)  what pulls us through.

I attempted my first run yesterday - I made it to the very nearby park and back. Today it feels like someone punched me all they way down my stomach. Training is going well. 

PLEASE dig deep in your pockets and give generously to help us raise money. You will basically be giving money to a great cause and I will be in agony.
