Story
For those that know me, they know the basic facts that I live in Japan and that I love running.
Over the past two weeks I know the whole world has been shocked by the devastation that followed the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
I have decided to combine RUNNING and JAPAN and raise money for the survivors. In the current season I have so far run over 900k and I will be using my last run of the season to raise as much money as possible. On April 17th I will take part in the Oharako Sakura Road Race in Yamaguchi and I will be racing to get as close to 20 minutes for 5k (3.1miles) as possible...
Following the earthquake last week I was amazed and touched by how many people contacted me to check my safety. Please think about donating money to help those who weren't as fortunate as me and were unable to reply to those messages of concern.
Please check out www.5tosurvive.org for more information on the team I will be raising money with.
