Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Jem and Paddy's JustGiving page.

We are joining 14 other middle aged mates in lycra to cycle 900 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats in 13 days.

Paddy and I are raising money for the Henry Spink Foundation (www.henryspink.org), which was set up by Paddy's brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Henrietta, to help families of children with severe disabilities of all kinds.

Note from Paddy: "We may be a pair of arthritic old codgers (Jem has a fresh new hip and I'm not far behind) but this is nothing compared to the difficulties that parents with handicapped children face, often juggling battles with the Local Authorities for appropriate care with their own needs for "down time". As well as providing support right now, the Henry Spink Foundation is also raising money to build and open a new care and activity centre in Cornwall. Your generosity will be hugely appreciated by all those who will benefit now and in the future."

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your generosity.

Kind regards

Jem and Paddy
