We raise funds for Burns Survivors to support their rehabilitation needs

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Katie Piper Foundation aims to help burns survivors by progressing extended rehabilitation and scar management and to encourage greater acceptance of disfigurement in society.

The Foundation was set up by Katie Piper after she was attacked with sulphuric acid. She received outstanding treatment at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and then travelled to Centre Ster in Lamalou in France where she received five three week intensive blocks of rehabilitation physiotherapy.

The Foundation aims to offer non-medical advice on how to empower people and build up their confidence by showing them how to look and feel their best again. This includes professional lessons on camouflage make-up and hair styling as well as a mentorship program and our online Forum helps to bring burns survivors together to support each other.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
