The picture above shows me with the first day of Decembeard, it will soon reach a stage that some have called 'Alan Yentob' .It's usually at this point that I wisely shave it off. 

 

However, I'm keeping the beard because this is an important campaign for me. 

 

In December 1987 my mother was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She underwent a long period of fairly aggressive treatment and, although the after effects were very unpleasant, she survived and lived for another 23 years.

 

However, there are many people with bowel cancer that do not survive and those that do survive need as much support as they can get. 

 

That's why I'm supporting this campaign.  Please give whatever you can, thanks!
