Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are running a 50s style Prom Night to raise money for the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal.
On April 16th, Jenn and Josh (with help from a couple of lovely volunteers) will be hosting a night of fun and frolicks, dancing and drinking and general merriment at The Cavendish Arms in Stockwell (www.thecavendisharmsstockwell.co.uk/) to aid the British Red Cross's efforts to help their Japanese counterparts rebuild people's lives.
The night will involve:
* A cake sale and Japanese food sale
* A raffle of dontations and hand made items (cost £1 only available on the night)
* A photobooth with the option to buy prints (£1 per print, please leave a name and email address in a list with the photographer)
* A dance off and the crowning of the Prom King and Queen
* Live entertainment, drinking and dancing
Advance tickets are just £3, available through JustGiving. Please leave your name with your donation, and email 50spromjapanappeal@gmail.com so we can leave a ticket on the door for you. On the night we will charge £4 for entry.
If you cannot make the event but still wish to give money please feel free, we welcome donations of any size. Every penny will go to the British Red Cross.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation (unfortunately if you are buying tickets for the Prom these are NOT eligible for the GiftAid reclaimation) by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
